James Benson is from Anambra, in South East Nigeria. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from Abia State University. He moved to South Africa in 2015. He holds qualifications in HIV counselling from Wits University, Substance Abuse Disorder and Addictions counselling from SANCA, Psychology from the University of Toronto, Sociology from the University of South Wales, and Child Counselling from College SA. He worked for the Wits Health Consortium as an HIV/AIDS counsellor, and with Jesuit Refugee Services as a trauma counsellor, focusing on LGBTI refugees and on women refugee victims of sexual violence. He provided end of life accompaniment to the terminally ill, and bereavement counselling to the family members and loved ones left behind.

James is passionate about restoring hope, wholeness and balance to clients. Each human being contains the breath of the Divine Creator, which is the source of life. Re-connecting clients with the Divine within themselves is the key to healing and wholeness.

Sinah is a highly experienced healthcare professional with accredited qualifications in elderly care, frail care, and pharmacy management. She has worked in ICUs at two hospitals in Gauteng, providing specialized care to critically ill patients. She has also provided care to the elderly in their homes, including end-of-life accompaniment.

Sinah’s passion for the elderly is evident in her commitment to providing them with compassionate and holistic care. She has a deep understanding of the challenges that the elderly face, particularly loneliness and isolation. She believes that these challenges can be mitigated by providing the elderly with a sense of love, affirmation, acknowledgment, and care.

Sinah’s experience and expertise make her an invaluable asset to any healthcare team. She is dedicated to providing the best possible care to the elderly, and she is committed to making a positive difference in their lives.
